About Jen

Jen’s path into holistic wellness began 24 years ago, sparking a deep and lasting interest in health and wellbeing. She started out as a fitness instructor, supporting others in building strength and confidence through movement. Her adventurous nature soon took her to sea, where she worked on cruise ships as both a massage therapist and fitness instructor. It was there that she first stepped into teaching yoga—with just a little initial training, she found herself drawn to it more than anything else.

Eager to learn more, Jen set off on a year-long backpacking trip through India, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand. These travels planted the seeds for a deeper relationship with yoga and eventually led her to the island of Crete, where she lived and worked at a yoga retreat center for six summers. In exchange for massage therapy and helping with the day-to-day running of the center, Jen was able to develop a daily practice under the guidance of experienced teachers.

Back home in Ireland, she studied Physical Education and Geography while continuing to teach yoga part-time. After completing her degree, she worked in both primary and secondary schools and later became a tutor at the University of Limerick, supporting student teachers in  lesson planning and developing their teaching skills.

During the Covid pandemic, Jen felt a strong pull to return to her roots in holistic health. She became a certified reflexologist and completed an advanced yoga teacher training.

Through over two decades of experience as a fitness instructor, massage therapist, ten years as a yoga teacher, and educator, Jen has developed a grounded, thoughtful approach to teaching. She brings empathy, adaptability, and a deep respect for the individual needs of her students. At the heart of it all, Jen remains a humble student herself, always learning and exploring. For her, yoga is—and always will be—a lifelong journey of discovery.
